Searching for marriage record for Gasper Vaught[Faught] and Louisa Blount-Blackledge circa 1800.Marriage said to have occured at Eusebia Church in Blount County,TN.Children were said to have been baptised there.I have found documentation that Gasper was a soldier at Knoxville and Tellico Blockhouse.By 1805,he was on Cherokee land near Lookout Mountain and Nickajack Cave, where is credited with building tavern, grist mill and house at the Cherokee's Brown's Ferry on Tennessee River.
