Hi, Kathy - I'm also researching a Carroll line in Bradley County. I believe that James A. and Elizabeth Jane Lawson are my ggg-grandparents, through their daughter Mary/Polly, who married Lewis Richard Parker. I've gotten National Archive Civil War pension records for both James A. Carroll and Lewis Richard Parker. I would love to exchange information about this line!
