JAMES AND CATHERINE HAWKINS BRADLEY CO TN

Help! There must be someone else out there that knows about this James and Catherine Hawkins family of Bradley Co Tennessee.
James and Catherine lived in Bradley County TN by 1830. Most of the family appears to have moved to Georgia by 1860. They had children named Thomas, Tilmon, Elizabeth, Jane, James and Jackson. James Hawkins (the father) was born in North Carolina about 1805. Catherine was born about 1810 in Tennessee. I have not been able to find any marriage record and so still don't know her maiden name. My gg grandfather was their son James who married Nancy Ann Smith in Fulton Co Georgia about 1857.
Does anyone know where this James Hawkins Sr was from in North Carolina?? I understand land at this time in Bradley Co (1830-1840) was Indian territory. Anyone else out there researching this family?
