My gr-grandfather is Walter William Sharp. His death certificate says that his parents were Russell Sharp and Sarah Patterson both of Campbell or Claiborne Co., TN.
I can't find them together on any census or marriage records. Family story was that he was illigitemate and was sent to live with an uncle. Does anyone have information on this. I've searched for his family since April of 2006 and need help.
