My ggrandfather was John Leander Smith who died in Campbell county in 1940. His first wife was Martha Jane West Smith, my ggrandmother. His second wife was Ida Thacker Arnold.
According to the death certificate of John Leander Smith, his funeral was handled by Minton Sharp Funeral Parlor in 1940. I have the death certificate but it does not state where he is buried. I am trying to locate the records of Minton Sharp Funeral Parlor, so I can locate his grave.
Does anyone have any information on this funeral home and where I might find these old records? Minton Sharp himself died I believe in the 1950's.
