The 1880 Jefferson Co., TN census includes the family of William (40) and Mary (33) Wigington. The family was previously from South Carolina. Children were Hetty (13), Emmy (12), Florrene (9), Johnny (7), Rolbert/Robert (5), Adday (4), Hatty (3) and Lener (1). Both parents and the two oldest children were born in SC. The younger children were born in TN. Spelling of the surname and some of the children's names seem to vary considerably. Mary may have been William's second wife. I believe some members of this family may have moved to the Campbell Co., TN and Whitley Co., KY area. Is anyone familiar with this family?
