Can any local male PELHAM contribute to DNA project?

Most or all Cannon County Pelhams probably descend from those living in the Carolinas circa 1760 - and probably Virginia before that. A Pelham DNA project is underway - see message 456 in the Pelham forum - and is gathering male (Y) DNA from some related lines, but has no volunteers from the Cannon County area. If interested, please consider joining, as explained in the Pelham forum. FYI, I am interested because I descend from William Pelham, the RW soldier who died in Cannon County about 1835, and I want to know for sure how he relates to other Pelhams.
