I read in Sterling Brown's book that Daniel Boone and Uriah Stone, in 1776 (Brown has this as 1776 but it was really 1766), were in a party of Long Hunters who landed at the mouth of a river, later named Stone's River.
Reading all the history about Daniel Boone, although he was a comtemporary of Uriah Stone, I don't find any information wherein he was a companion of Uriah Stone on that particular trip or any other trip into and up the Stone's River.
If you have information on this association, I would like to review.
Thank you.
