Connie, Is that Michael T.Hyder Sr.,and w.Elizabeth Wood you are talking about? I have some info on him,wars he was in,I was told he is buried in Hyder Cemetery,Elizabethion,Carter Co.TN.,is that true? Michael is an ancestor according to L.D.S. I hope to go to his grave,next month when I visit TN.,I live in FL.My line continues through Adam b.1776 d.1816*,tn.,burial?, then Alford Taylor Hider b.1820*,d.1888,burial? and lastly my Thomas E. The dates for Adam d.1816*,and Alford's b.1820*,that would mean Adam had died 4 years before Alford was born! I know record keeping was tough in those years,there were many more priorites.
