Carter Co., TN Court Case 1830 - Carter H. Greer vs. Daniel Ward
Posted by: Brenda Reed (ID *****0982) Date: March 30, 2008 at 10:51:37

At the November Court 1830 at Carter County, Tennessee in the Court Minutes appears the following entry:
CARTER H. GREER vs. DANIEL WARD; "And it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that execution having passed in this cause in favour of the plaintiff by the Defendant."

Does anyone know anything about this man, CARTER H. GREER, or about this court case? It may be that another man by the name of BROOKS WILSON was involved in this case.

I am a descendant of said DANIEL WARD (c1776-1877) of Carter Co./Johnson Co., TN, Ashe Co. NC, and Lee Co., VA.

Thanking you in advance for any assistance.
