Need information on John Thomas Batts(B.Oct 1830) M. Martha Washington Pool.
His mother was Mary Batts. Who were her parents?
One of John Thomas's sons was Alfonse Batts (1872) My grandfather, Alfonse M Mattie Mackabee (B1876) in Montgomery County. One of their six children was my father Albert Holmes Batts (B1903)
Alfonse and Mattie raised their family in Henrietta, Tn. Also, I don't know anything about Mattie. Where she was from or who were her parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I seem to have hit a brick wall on who was John Thomas' father, Mary Batts parents or Mattie's parents?
