Does anyone know if marriage records for 1800's for Cheatham Co., TN are available online? What about death or cemetery records?
I am looking for descendants/ancestors of John Stewart (c. 1805 TN-a.1869) m. Catherine Unknown (c. 1817 NC-a. 1848)dates est from Robertson Co. TN census of 1820/1850). They had children: Newton Stewart (1831); Sarina Stewart (c.1840); Nancy Stewart (c. 1841); Fredonia Tennessee Stewart (20 Mar 1842); Francis (f) Stewart (c.1848). Apparently all born Robertson CO., TN. Fredonia m. Frederick H. Cabler on 6 May 1858 in Cheatham Co., TN. She died 8 Aug 1871 in Randolph Co., AR.
On the 1820 census (Robertson CO.)there is a John Stewart listed, but the John above would have been only about 15 or 16. I doubt he would have been the head of household listed on the census so it appears the above John Stewart was in household of another John Stewart in 1820 on census for Robertson Co., TN.

1 male 10-16 ............... John Stewart b. abt 1805
1 male 26-45 ............... Father of John Stewart (b.1775 to 1794)
2 females to 10 ............ sisters (b. 1810 to 1820)
1 female 10-16 ............. sister (b. 1804 to 1810)
1 female 26-45 ............. Mother of John Stewart (b.1775 to 1794)
(On the same page as John's listing, there are Charles Stewart, Brice Stewart, & Herbert Stewart)
I'll appreciate anything anyone can offer to help me with this family.
