I am attempting to further identify Presley W. Davis, also shows up as P.W. Davis. I believe he was born between 1828-1836 in Virginia and migrated with his parents to Madison County, Tennessee in 1837. He is possibly son of John Egbert and Nancy Elizabeth Davis. Siblings may include: J.A. Davis born April 29, 1830,Charles W. Davis b. 1831 Richard Hardin Davis born 1833, Amanda J. Davis b 1835,
Sarah Thomas Davis b. 1836, Nathaniel L. Davis b. 1838,LaFayette Davis b. 1840, Nancy Susan Davis b. 1842 and Sallie F. Davis.
Presley W. Davis was a farmer and is known to have lived in both Madison County and Chester County, Tennessee.
