I am trying to further identify both James S. Jester, also known as "J.S." Jester and spouse Martha Ann Davis who married January 24, 1854 in Madison County, Tennessee.
J.S Jester witnessed several legal documents for my Davis line in Madison County and Chester County, Tennessee over a period of years. He was listed as an heir in the will of J.A. Davis dated October 8, 1902 in Chester County, Tennessee who was born ca 1830.There was no mention of Martha Ann. The relationship between J.A. Davis, James S.Jester and Martha Ann Davis is unknown at this time. Any assistance is much appreciated.
J.S. Jester is believed to have been a Sergeant in the 51st Consolidated Tennessee Infantry, CSA.
