Davis and Milton/Melton Connection Chester and Madison County, Tn

I am researching the connection between my Davis line and the Milton and /or Melton family in Chester and Madison County,Tennessee. The Davis Cemetery in Chester County, Tennessee holds six graves 1. Richard Hardin Davis born Dec. 15, 1833 in Va. died Sept. 10, 1900 in Chester County, Tn(my great grandfather) 2. Amanda Frances Croom Davis born in Tn. July 4, 1843 died Jan. 12, 1892 (my great grandmother). 3. Emma Davis born April 20, 1878 died Sept. 21, 1884 (dau) 4. Anna Davis born April 20, 1878 died October 21, 1878 (dau). 5 Sadie I. Melton born January 20, 1894 died July 30,1896. 6 Lillie Mae Melton born March 13, 1889 died October 7, 1892. These were the children of H. L. and M.J. Melton not further described.
In his will dated Nov. 3, 1904 Nathaniel L. Davis, brother of Richard Hardin Davis, names heirs Susan V. Milton, Ludie Milton and Sadie Milton.
Susan is described as his child (Susan V."Violet?" Davis Milton). Sadie and Ludie are not further described. I have not found a marriage record for Susan. It appears Susan was a widow as of 1904.
Any help appreciated. I am happy to share information
