I am researching a Joseph Davis who died between August-1892 and August 1893 in either Chester County or Madison County, Tn.
Chester County records reflect the following people were litigating his estate by August of 1893:
1. Malvina A. Davis minor child of H.C. Davis
2. Susan V. Davis and Alice A. Davis minor children of Nathaniel L. Davis (my gguncle)
3. Wesley A. Williams, Au"r"a Williams, Callie M. Williams and Oda I. Williams, the minor children of D.B. Williams.
I have circumstantial evidence this Joseph Davis may be sibling of my progenitor, John Egbert Davis, born in Va ca 1805 died in Madison County, Tn ca 1845-47. Any information re Joseph or any of the litigatees or their guardians would be most appreciated.
