Hello Kent,
Thank you for the response. I would be grateful for any Davis data you might wish to share. I am particularly interested in the identity og parents of Thomas Davis. If E.L. davis is my gguncle, Egbert Lafayette Davis, this data my help determine if there is a kinship link between the lines.
My Egbert Lafayette Davis 1869-1937 was the son of Richard hardin Davis 1833-1900 born in Pittsylvania County, Va. His parents, John Egbert Davis ca 1806-1849 and Nancy Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) migrated from Virginia to the Madison County area in 1837.
