I am searching for any info on my Great Grandfather Noah Hendrix and his first wife Martha Elizabeth Jones. We found him in the 1910 census for Chester County TN. But he was already with his 2nd wife Frances Lucus Vaughn. They were living in the same houshold at that time but were not married yet. Noah is listed as Noey Hendrix and has two of his sons from his first marriage. Oliver Bornie Warn Hendrix(My Grandpa) and Andrew Jackson Hendrix. Frances had 3 children from a previous marriage with her. We know that Noah had a set of twin boys with his 1st wife Mattie. They were older than my grandpa and Jack. There names were James and Chales Hendrix. One died of a fever very young but we do not know which one it was and Noah could not take care of the other child and left him with an unknown realative before they all came to Missouri. I also have a 1920 census for Mississippi Couty AR. We are not sure when Noah was born or where his parents were from because the info on his age and states where his parents were born is different in both census'. In 1910 Noah said that he was 35 and that both of his parents were born in TN. and in 1920 he said that he was 39 and that his father was born in AR and his mother was born in MO.
