Hello all!
I am searching for a death date, place and burial information for my gr-gr-grandfather, Andrew Jackson Williams. He was the son of James and Nancy (Garrett) Williams. Andrew was born in VA about 1831. In 1850 he is found with his parents and siblings in Subdivision 7, Claiborne Co., Tennessee. In 1870 he is found with his wife, Elizabeth (Lake) Williams in Hazel Hill Twp., Johnson Co., MO. They had 9 children at that time. In 1875 they had a daughter, Melvina, born. Sometime after that time and before the 1880 census Andrew died. The 1880 Census shows Elizabeth Williams, 49 years old,widowed, farming, living in Simpson Twp.,Johnson Co., Missouri; is HOH. I have found a Lake Cemetery in Simpson Twp., Johnson Co., MO with an infant of Jack Williams and Elizabeth Lake buried there along with some of Elizabeth's family. His wife, Elizabeth, was the dau. of James and Mary (Monday) Lake; b. 13 Mar. 1829 in Tazewell, Claiborne Co., TN. She died on 15 Dec. 1907 in Oklahoma. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, Creek Co., OK.
