Looking for information on the family of Sterling Lane born June 1873 in Claiborne Co., TN, the son of William Henry Lane and Sarah Collins. He married Nancy Hipshire. In 1930 they were in Lee Co., Va., but later returned to Tennessee.

Steral R. Lane, wife Nancy, son Jim (single), daughter Vally O. (divorced), daughter Laura J, (single), daughter Essie (single), son Sears (single), granddaughter Opal H. (age 2 10/12), son Fowler (married), daughter-in-law Emma B., grandson Eulyes, and granddaughter Berle M.
I am particularly interested in Opal H., granddaughter of Sterling. I would like to know who her parenst were. It doesn't appear to be Fowler as she is listed before him rather than with his children. It could possibly be the daughter Vally who is listed as divorced, but why doesn't she have her father's last name (unless the father was also a Lane).
Any help on this line would be greatly appreciated.
