Seeking ANY Info on Michael McDowell b. 1745 believed to be born in Ulster,Northern Ireland -possibly Scotland. Very little info for him. I'm searching for who his wife may have been. Not sure what year he immagrated-first son Edward b.1773 in North Carolina or Virginia, U.S. . First found in U.S. before 1777/1778 in Bedford, Virginia as Rev War Soldier. No info on his wife,parents.
Other sons:Luke,John,William,Nathan S. McDowell
daughter;Elizabeth Caroline McDowell all these children born in U.S.
