I recently came across a biography for a Stephen Adams, born in 1803 in Wilkes Co NC, but it states he came to Claiborne Co in 1824 and "remained for 3 years". Ultimately ended up in Missouri (Jackson Co.--see link to online book)

Wondering if anyone knows if he is related to other Adams in Claiborne Co., and who his parents may have been.
