I am looking for Tabitha A. (b. Aug. 1886) & Martha J. (b. Feb. 1897)Trobaugh. They were daughters of John. H. Trobaugh. John Henry Trobaugh was born in White County, Tn. 22 March 1861. In 1900 he and second wife, Melvina, are in Tompkinsville, Monroe Co. Ky. with the following children: William Harvie b 1885, Tabitha A. 1886, Scott F.(Frank)1888, Sarah Belle 1892, Hurshall Lou 1895, Martha J. 1897 & Harlan R. 1899. By 1910 they are back in Jackson County, Tn. and have Roxie 1902, Ada 1906 and a child that died between the two census. In 1910 Melvina had 10 children with 9 living, so they were still alive and probably married. I searched both the Tn. and Ky. Marriage Indexes online and had no luck. If anyone lives in either Celina or Tompkinsville and has access to the records I would greatly appreciate help on this one. Anyone with any information or ideas where to go from here, please contact me also. John & Melvina and their descendants are mostly in the Celina/Brimstone area of Clay Co. Tn. and Monroe Co. Ky. Thanks!
