I believe the family line you are looking for might be located in Burnet,Llano,or Lampasas Co. Tex. I am related to Stephen Jones and Allen Jones both from Tenn.and Ky.area.
Wife of Stepeh Jones was Martha Bible. Daughter of Martha and Stephen was Missouri Jane. Missouri Jane married James Madison Trussell.Daughter of Jane and James Trussell was Laura Viola. Viola married Robert L. Jones. Viola and Robert were my grandparents on my mothers side.
Allen Jones was married to Mary Ann Williams.Son of Allen and Mary Ann was William Rubin who married Lillian A. Felker. Son of William and Lillian was Robert L. My grandfather on my mothers side of family.
My grandmothers family settled in the Lampasas and Burnet Co. areas of Texas then later moved to South Tex. Grandfathers family moved from around Panola Co. Miss. in early 1900's. Grandfather and Grandmother both stated they were distant cousins. I can trace my grandmothers line of the family back to Stephen Jones and my grandfather to Allen Jones.After that I am at brick wall. We think that Stephen and Allen were related through Wyatt Jones out of Tenn. Still trying to connect the families. Would you contact me if this looks like we are talking about the same family line.
