GORDON and GRAHAM families ca 1840's

There was one GRAHAM family listed on the 1840 census of Coffee Co TN...Arthur M. GRAHAM, born ca 1807, Tenn.

There were 2 GORDON families listed on 1840 Coffee Co TN census:

1. James GORDON, born ca 1805 in SC/NC (or GA) - His wife was Margaret GRAHAM, born ca 1811-1812 in Tenn.
2. John GORDON, age approx. 55, born 1785

Seeking info. on John GORDON. What happened to this man? Who was his wife? Did he have children? Did he continue to live around Coffee Co Tenn, or did he move elsewhere? If so, where?

Could he have fathered the James Gordon listed above? Age wise, I think it is a possibility. Seeking proof on this.

Was Arthur M. GRAHAM related to James Gordon's wife, Margaret GRAHAM? Could he be a brother to her, or a cousin? What happened to him and his family? Did he continue to live around Coffee Co, or move elsewhere?

Please email me if you think you might be able to help me out. I would appreciate any help I can get on this.
