I have found Samuel Jones Miles. He was born 8/13/1900. 1910 Census has him as being 10 and living with his parents Tom & Nancy Miles in Tullahoma Tennessee, it also list a sister age 7 named Elizabeth.
I have Samuel Jones Miles death certificate. He died 10/28/1930 in Bedford County, TN. He is buried in Oakwood cemetery, in Tullahoma Tennessee. It lists Tom Miles as his Father, Nannie Watkins as his mother and Mary Miles as his wife.
In the 1920 census I found Sam Miles living in Moore County with is wife Annie. They had no children. The lived with his sister Elizabeth and her husband Lonzy Adams, who also had no children.
In the 1930 census I found Sam Miles living in Tullahoma, TN with his wife Mary. Three children are listed Dorothy age 7, George age 5 and Sam Jr age 2. Mary is listed as being 19, Sam as 30. Sam and Mary were married around 1927.
In the 1930 census I found Elizabeth and Lonzy Adams living in Tullahoma TN. They had two children listed, Mildred age 8 and Woodrow Age 5.
Mary Miles remarried 11/26/1930, to R. J. Carroll after Sams death.
I would like to find Sam Miles and Mary's wedding date. I would also like to find out more about Elizabeth and Lonzy Adams. I found a Lonzy L Adams of the apropriate age buried in Davidson County, TN, with Dorothy E. Adams (same exact age as Elizabeth Miles Adams) buried beside him. This is the only Lonzy Adams I can find. Not sure if it is him or not.
If any knows additional information on any of these people please let me know. Especially about Mary and R. J. Carroll.
