I posted a couple of weeks ago asking for information about my great grandfather, John William Harris. I think he may have been born in or near Coffee County, TN. He later was in Henry County TN. His first son was Carter Blanton Harris, second son John Robert Harris. Carter Blanton Harris named his first son Granville Parker Harris. Does anyone know of a connection between the Parkers and Harrises in the Coffee county area in the early to mid 1800's. I feel like the Carter Blanton and the Granville Parker names have some significance, but can't figure what it is.
