Does anyone have information on a A. C. Helton and James A Harper. I do not have any information on James A. Harper, but have the following on A.C. Helton: She was born July 23, 1865 in County Line,Moore County,Tn. She was the daughter of Samuel Porter Helton and Mary (or Nancy) Jones. In 1880 U.S. Census Household Record, A.C. Helton is living in County Line, Moore County, Tn., in the household of S.P. Helton. And according to Hoover Funeral Home Book 12, 1938-1941, Pg234 (the transcription by Tim and Helen Marsh on pg239) the following was recorded: "Armacinta Caroline Harper (Mrs. Tine), born 23 July1865, Moore County, Tennessee, Age 75 years, widow, residence Manchester, Tennessee, died September 2, 1940, 6th District of Manchester, Tennessee, buried September 3, 1940 Redden Cemetery. Husband James Alexander Harper. Father Porter Helton was born in Moore County, Tennessee. Mother______Jones was born in Moore County, Tennessee. Dr. G.W. Shelton of Manchester, Tennessee. Ordered by Mrs. Kirk WEilson and Sam D. Harper of R#4 Manchester, Tennessee. Casket $100.00 and embalming $20.00. END"
