I am also seeking information on my great grandmother, Alice Eugenia Bennett (often mistaken for Barnett). She was born in 1868, but unsure of where. She died in 1926 and is buried in Cairo Cemetery.
She married Robert W Cates, son of Felix Grunde Cates and Elizabeth Malvina Jane Roberts. Though, I have found much information about this side of the family tree, I have been unable to trace Alice Eugenia's ancestry.
If you have any information concerning her, such as locations, parents' names, occupation, etc., I would very much appreciate it. And if anyone has copies of wills, deeds, certificates, obituaries on any of the above listed, that would also be great. Thank you.
