This could be to far out... but my great grandfather Rufus A. Daniel, was born in 1845 Wake, Co. N.C.. After the War Between the States, he and his cousin "Joshua Pollard" came to Madison, Co. Tn. I think around 1868 or 1869.
They came on horse back. My great grandfather Rufus, went to Gibson, Co. Tn. and married D. Emiline Watson, in 1875.
But, my grandmother Rebecca O. Daniel-Richardson, said that Joshua Pollard went back to N.C. (St. Marys, Dist. Wake, Co. N.C.) I think this Joshua, was a "Jr."
After Emiline Watson-Daniel, died in Gibson, Co. Tn. Rufus moved to Crockett, Co. Tn. just out from Gadsden, on the Alamo / Gadsden Road.
Some time before 1900 Rufus and his family moved back to Wake, Co. N.C. There one of his little girls, broke her neck and died. Emiline told Rufus, I want to go back home.
Well, they moved back to Gibson, Co. Tn. (Davis Store.) then she and 3 more of the children died from the fever.
I know the Brassfield's lived on the same Gadsden, Rd. and cousin back in Wake, Co. N.C.

Lucy Revis, b. 1817 Wake, Co. N.C. d. Wake, Co. N.C.

Emiline Watson, parents:
David Watson, b. 1816 Williamson, Co. Tn. d. Gibson, Co. Tn.
Catharine Stiller, b. 1805 Rowan, Co. N.C. d. Gibson, Co. Tn.
...............
I have a little information on this "Pollard" family. There were other Daniel - Pollard - Brassfield - Watson - cousin's in Crockett, and Gibson, Co. Tn.
My mother said some of them moved to St. Frances, Co. Ark., but moved back to Hardeman, Co. Tn.....I think mother said this was in the 1920's.
