I remember seeing Rogers Store as the post office in the 1860 census record. So, these Rogers that you mention being related to the Reavis' would be the same as Rogers Store? I grew up in Hardeman county where the Brock's eventually settled in 1937. My grandfather moved from Crockett county to Hardeman then. They had been living on the Sam Arms farm around Bells. My uncle said they lived close to Gadsden at one point. I have Moore relatives from my Brock line. My gg-grandmother was a Moore from Alabama or Mississippi. She was Margaret Moore. Her parents were probably either John Moore and Martha Martindale or Samuel Moore and Catherine Thompson. It's not certain. Also, I have Brown relatives on my mom's side. They hail from Roane county TN, St Clair county AL and Anson county NC. Besides the all too common Smith I recognize Goodwin from my previous Reavis research. The rest are new too me. I didn't have names to check for around BB Pollard. Another look seems to be in order. Jeremy Notify Administrator about this message?
