Hazel Bell Morton, 92, of Friendship, died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Pittinger officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Morton of Friendship; two daughters, Jean Baysden and Jeanette Hutchison, both of Friendship; two sisters, Mary Sue Gourley of Friendship and Joyce Hutchison of Crockett Mills; four brothers, Gerald Woods of Crockett Mills, Billy Woods of Trenton, Elbert Woods of Alamo and Donald Woods of Arlington; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Morton; her parents, Algie and Ruby Agee Woods; two sisters, Dorothy Burnett and Beatrice Simmons; and a brother, Travis Woods.
Pallbearers will be Troy Hutchison, Corey Hutchison, Bryan Boley, John Honeycutt, Larry Leath and Joe Young.
