My interest is in Joseph C. Bell of Rutherford County, Tennessee. I believe there is a good chance that he is one of my ancestors, possibly a gr-gr-grandfather.
Mary Wallace Bell was my gr-grandmother. She was born Feb. 17, 1857 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee according to the book, Wheeler Family in America by Albert. G. Wheeler, Jr. She was married to Eugene Jeffferson Wheeler. This Mary Wallace Bell may have been the daughter of Joseph C. Bell because her birth date given above fits the age of his daughter, Mary W., given in the 1860 census of Nashville, Davidson County which shows a Mary W. age 2 living with Evaline Bell, age 55.
I'm would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone in hopes you can shed some more light on these persons and especially if you know of the relationship of Mary Wallace Bell to the above names. Thanks very much.
