John Tate was b.abt 1753 fought in REV.WAR married Rebecca Doane-- where? John and Rebecca died in Davidson co.,Tn abt 1826 Their daughter Nancy married Moses T Brooks July 13, 1813. He was from Wilson co Tn. There son John T.Brooks married Thursy Cowgill. Their daughter Octavia Brooks married John M. Clements in Davidson co Tn.
If you have any info on John and Rebecca or Moses and Nancy please share I will do likewise
