I am looking for information on the family of James and Matilda Hitchcock. They are listed in the 1850 DeKalb County,TN census. The listing is as follows:
James Hitchcock 48 M Farmer
Matilda 48 F
John L. 20 M Farmer
James A. 14 M
Manza 19 F ( I believe her age should be 9)
Ebenzer 6 M
William 4 M

I believe there were another 2 sisters that belong in this family that were married prior to this census.
They are:
Elizabeth 23 married to John David Stephenson abt. 1848 in Jackson County, TN.
Emiline 16 married to David Stephen Stephenson January 31, 1849 in DeKalb County.
Both Elizabeth and Emiline named one of their daughters Maniza, an unusual name that would seem to come from the daughter that is listed in the census
