Hello Billye, The book I was refering to is the book "Cemetery Inscriptions of Dyer County, Tennessee, Compiled by Mrs Quintard Glass of Newbern, Tennessee and publisshed by: Southern Historical Press." Page 125 has the start of the PIERCE CEMETERY. Pierce Cemetery, Trimble, was donated by Jesse Pierce in 1891. He was the son of John Pierce, pioneer circa 1825. The cemetery was deeded to J. H. Pierce, R. N. Mitchel, M.R. Hendricks, J. F. Thompson, W.F. Pierce, N. A. Pennington and their successors in office; the fifth generation now being P.B. Moore, V.G. Emge, Hamilton Parks, E.P. Thompson, and W. H. Parks, Superintendent. They deeded it to the Town of Trimble, Tennessee. There are about 600 graves, 536 markers, 308 recorded to date and others are unmarked. The oldest marked grave is dated 1845. Pierce Cemetery is a non-profit organization, maintained by a Parks Trust Fund of $7,000.00 and other donations. The Cemetery is located on a hill with a large cross, on the left side of the road off of Highway 51 N. just before the turn to go to Trimble. The Cemetery can be seen from Highway 51. PIERCE, Jana A, Wife of S.H. Pierce Jan. 20,1867-April 29,1899 ( Is this the Jona Pierce you are looking for?Could be you have the name spelled wrong)? PIERCE, Samuel H. Feb. 6, 1869-April 18, 1912. (does not appear to be on the same stone as Jana) PIERCE, Claude H., 1888-1950 PIERCE, Ethel Daniels,1893-1927 (together like one stone). PIERCE, J.B. 1916-1953. (Could this be your Billy Jack Daniels? Maybe he was not a Daniles but a Pierce?) The only Daniel in the Pierce Cemetery is: DANIEL, Dorthie Dau of John Daniel & wife Dec. 4, 1922- July 13, 1923 I looked through the book and didn't find Joann Daniels b. 1925. I didn't find any Hargett family to relate them to this family, but they could be. If you would like me to look further let me know. Hope this helps.
