Jane,
It is so great to find your message. I have been searching the Davis' for several months and yours is first that connects to my line. Jesse Davis and Malinda Wilson Davis are my great-grand parents through their daughter Betty Jane. She was first married to a Carrington (no children) and when he died she married my grandfather James Issac Tyler. I have not been searching my genealogy very long but I do have some information on Malinda's family if you need it.
