Hello Jane G. McDaniel
I was going through Dyer, Co. Messages and I saw your names I had to look at your posting.
My mother is a McDaniel, from Forrest City, Ark. she has Carrington , Davis , Abernathy , Calvert , Harris , Overton , Eason, well alot more.
The McDaniel's, Davis's, Carrington's and Calvert's came out of Maryland, to Va. then moved over to Lewis, Co. Ky. by 1785 then on down to St.Frances, Co. Ark. by 1825.
The Abernathy's, moved from Brunswick, Co. Va. to Giles, Co. Tn. by 1803. Abernathy's (William and Elizabeth Clayton Abernathy married about 1767). Some of my Richardson's, Parker's , Jenkins's and Finley's, moved to Dyer, Co. Tn. I was born in Madison, Co. Tn.
