Looking for any information about Isaac SAMPSON, b. c1800 in Kentucky (according to census). He lived in Dyer Co. for many years and was a lawyer and judge in that area. Isaac and family were listed in the 1850 Dyer Co. TN Census. Eldest female in that census who I assume was his wife was S. G. (initials only for family members), b. c1810, KY; Children (all born TN) F. G. (son, Francis "Frank" G., b. c1828; A.D. (female), b. c1831; S. D. (female), b. c1834; L.P. (female), b. c1836; W. B. (son, Watson B.), b. c1838; and S. B. (female), b. c1846. Also in the household in that census were James RANKIN, 23, Farmer, TN; Edwin ROCHELL, 16, Farmer, TN; and A.D. (Aaron D.) CROCKETT, 24, Carpenter, TN, a son of my ggg grandparents, Aaron CROCKETT and Nancy SAMPSON, (dau. of Emanuel SAMPSON). I'm trying to determine if this Isaac SAMPSON was related in some way to my ggg grandmother, Nancy SAMPSON CROCKETT. I'd appreciate any info about Isaac SAMPSON and family. Thanks very much. Brenda
