I found a Henry W, Burroughs in Dyer Co. Tn. in 1848 applying for guardinship of Charlotte Fergurson, daughter of Sally Fergurson. I believe Sally was his daughter and Charlotte was his grandaughter. A Henry Burroughs was on the 1850 census in Dyer Co. with wife Charlotte and Children Memphis age 20, Martha age 18, and Jo t. age 14 and C. F. age 9. I believe this is the same girl . C. F. would stand for Charlotte Fergurson, and Henry's wifes name was Charlotte, so I think Sally must have been a daughter. Are there any Fergursons, or Burroughs Families out there with new information. out there .that would know any information about this family. Henry ended up in Van Buren Co. Ar. in 1860 with wife and son Memphis Burroughs, but we find no trace of other family members. I am a 3 rd great grandaughter of Henrys. Thanks, Alice
