There was an E Paschal (sometimes E P) Gower from North Carolina in the 26th North Carolina Regiment. He died 25 Nov 1863 - don't know if in war, but probably.

Did the place E P Gower was taken prisoner specifically say TN or could it have been New Bern NC?
