I'm looking for information on Garland Brooks and his wife Jennie Cupp or Culp. He was possibly named William Garland Brooks. He died in Tennessee between 1884 and 1888. He married Jennie Cupp or Culp in TN around 1880. They were parents of George D. Brooks born March 1881 and Bettie Brooks born Sept 1884. Both were born in Collierville TN.
Jennie's mother was Catherine Cupp or Culp. Jennie married Leander D. Teater on Nov. 13, 1888 in Tipton County TN. They lived in Madison County TN and also near Collierville TN. Leander worked for the Railroad and they moved to Calhoun County Arkansas around 1901 or 1902.
