Kimberly, sorry I don't have specific knowledge of Hoodtown Cemetery. I do have a Hood connection that I am having trouble pinning down and wonder if you can help. In Campbell Co., TN in 1911, my great great grandfather Julian Reed married his third wife - Hattie or Hettie Hood. I'm not certain if Hood was her maiden name or if she had been married before as well. Julian was older, born in 1842. Hattie/Hettie seems to have been born about 1865, based on the 1920 census (they lived in Whitley Co., KY at that time). That is just about my only documentation of Hattie. There was a Hattie Wigginton who married a John Hood (also in Campbell Co., TN) in 1905. But I can't find them in the 1910 census. So I have no idea if that is the Hattie Hood who married Julian Reed or not. Most of these people came from Scott, Fentress, etc... Counties in Tennessee. I'm wondering if John and/or Hattie/Hettie Hood might be connected to your line at all?
