I am looking for any information on a James R. Hill who married Nancy Lee in Hamilton county Tennessee in 1867. He was born in North Carolina and she was born in
Tennessee. They later moved on to Indian Territory (Oklahoma) and possibly had a son (adopted), by the name of James Mitchell Gainer. He was also born in Tennessee.
I think that James Hill was previously married, but I do not know the name of his first wife. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
