I am looking for anyone researching the Bogles who lived in Gibson Co., TN. I have found a Thomas BOGLE on the 1840 census who may have been the father of my Robert BOGLE. Robert stated on his Confederate enlistment papers that he was born in 1833 in Cannon Co., TN, but we haven't been able to tie him to any of the families who were there at that time. I have heard that the Bogles in Gibson Co. came there from Wilson Co., adjacent to Cannon. My Robert left TN about 1851 and settled in Montgomery Co., AR, where he remained until his death in 1866. He was my g-g-grandfather. Any help would be appreciated.
