Jennifer,

I am thinking that N.H. Skipper is the son of Arthur Skipper, who is the patriarch of a large family that moved from Marlboro County, SC, to Gibson County around 1832. Arthur had 15 children and was quite wealthy. I am one of his descendents. I have load of information on Arthur and his family both in TN and in SC. Would be glad to share.
