We found one of our family cemetaries. The McLeary cemetary is located near Humboldt, TN. I know what you mean about crumbling headstones lost in the back north forty. Some of the old country cemeteries we have searched were in such pathetic shape it almost makes you cry. The McLeary Cemetary is located on land that used to belong to Andrew McLeary. We are still searching for the other cemetaries. We found one from the Farmer side of the family also, but it was not on land owned by the family.
If you go to www.findagrave.com and look up the McLeary cemetary, I have posted pictures of most of the headstones there. Also buried in the cemetery are Powell, Bennett, McGee, Gillispie, Goodloe and others.
