Looking for desc of John W BOWEN (ca 1822 -) & Sarah Barkley (1822 - ); mar Rutherford Co 1846; in Cannon Co 1850; Coffee Co 1860; in Gibson Co 1870. Had a dau, Julia BOWEN, b ca 1857; a Julia BOWEN mar J B Williams in Gibson Co 1874; where after that? Another dau was Jennie BOWEN, b 1860s; a Jennie BOWEN mar Dan ELLISON IN Gibson Co 1905; do not find them later, but found a Dan ELLISON 26 in 1910 Gibson, listed as boarder. Other children of John and Sarah were: Mary E ca 1847; William ca 1852; Rebecca ca 1854; Nancy ca 1856. All these ch were with their parents in 1870, except Nancy & Rebecca. Two or three other ch, b in the 1860s were also in the h/h. One was Robt, James, and I think John.
