My dead end is John William Childress. He was born approx 1830 apparently in Giles Co.
He married a Minerva Cranford in Walker Co Al around 1845.
In the 1850 Walker Census, there is an elder James in the household from NC.
ANYONE with any information or possible leads, Id love to hear from you.
