I'm seeking info. about the descendant's of Wilson & Althenia "Harris" Scott, who lived in Lincoln & Giles Co., Tenn.! Wilson Scott was born abt. 1800/1810 in Va., the son of Andrew & Catherine Caty ? Scott. Andrew was born abt. 1772/1773 in Washington Co., Va., the son of John & Anna "Creighton" Scott. John was born abt. 1734 in York or Chester Co., Pennsylvania. He died abt. 1803 in Washington Co., Va. He married Anna Creighton abt. 1758 in Penn. Anna was born 1744, and died bet. 1810 - 1820 in Adair Co., Kentucky. John & Anna had six known children; John Wilson, Wilson, Andrew, Ann, Isabella, & Mary W. Scott. Isabella married David Clark Apr. 16, 1795 in Washington Co., Va. Isabella was born 1776/1777, and died aft. 1850 in Gibson Co., Indiana. Ann Scott was born 1771/1772, and died aft. 1860 in Bradley Co., Tenn. She married George Kincannon. John Wilson Scott was born May 29, 1763 in Va., died Mar. 13, 1847 in Waynesville, Dewitt Co., Illinois. He first married Sarah Kincannon May 3, 1782, and second to Nancy Keith Feb. 1785. He and Nancy had 14 children, they were buried at Rock Creek Cemetery, in Dewitt Co., Ill. Andrew Scott born 1772/1773, died abt. 1819 in Lincoln Co., Tenn. He married Catherine bef. 1799 in Va.! Catherine was born 1780, and died after 1850 probably in Lincoln Co., Tenn. Her maiden name is unknown at the present, would like very much to learn her last name. Some claim she was a Buchanan, and other's thought she may have been Catherine Hartsell. Need more proff about her line. Andrew & Catherine had 8 known children, they were Wilson, John, Ann, William T., Samuel, Lewis B., Joseph Benton, and Jane Scott. Ann & Jane Scott were living with their mother Caty, on the 1850 Census of Lincoln Co., Tenn. Neither of them had been married. I would like to contact anyone who may be working on this line of Scott's, who lived in that area of Lincoln, Giles, and Maury Co., Tenn. Some also lived in Limestone Co., Alabama.
